I use different types of techniques and approaches to help you find the answers that you are looking for, honouring you and your process every step of the way— I believe that you are the ultimate expert of your own life, and I am here to remind you of that and shine a light on all the beauty that you carry within you.

My Approach

I stay away from a-one-size-fits-all

I believe therapy needs to be tailored to each individual’s needs and level of comfort. I approach therapy in a similar manner to caring for my plants at home. Each plant requires a different level of care: some require more sun, some like to be watered weekly, some – like cacti – can thrive in pretty much any environment. When you meet with me, I will make sure to support you in the way that you need to be supported.

I have been trained in many different approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Emotional Focus Therapy (EFTT), and I use some of these evidence-based approaches to guide my work. In my practice, I try to meet you where you are, creating an individualized plan for you and your personal needs.
